Terms and Conditions

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts, deliveries, services, and business relationships of Reiseblog24 by Michael Lieder (hereinafter referred to as “Reiseblog24”) with, to, and for customers. Deviating or supplementary conditions of the customer are not binding for Reiseblog24, even if Reiseblog24 does not explicitly object to the customer’s terms in an individual case, unless Reiseblog24 expressly acknowledges them. In such a case, they are only valid for the respective individual contract. Other agreements made between Reiseblog24 and the customer remain unaffected.

2. Prices and Shipping Costs

All prices quoted by Reiseblog24 are gross sales prices in EURO, including the applicable VAT. In addition, shipping costs incurred through shipment of goods via DHL will apply.

If additional shipping costs arise due to incomplete and/or incorrect information provided by the customer regarding the delivery address – such as repeated shipping costs – the customer shall reimburse these costs to Reiseblog24.

3. Payment Terms

Customers may make payments to Reiseblog24 by bank transfer, direct debit, or PayPal. Bank transfers must be made free of charge to the account specified by Reiseblog24, stating the invoice number and customer number.

The customer may only offset claims against Reiseblog24 to the extent that counterclaims are undisputed or have been legally established. The right of retention due to defective performance remains unaffected.

4. Delivery Terms 

Processing of the customer’s order and dispatch of deliveries will take place after receipt of the purchase price plus applicable shipping costs in Reiseblog24’s bank account, or after full crediting of the amount to Reiseblog24’s PayPal account.

5. Warranty and Liability

Unless otherwise specified in these Terms and Conditions, the customer’s warranty and liability claims are governed by the provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB).

If the customer is not a consumer, claims due to defects shall expire one year after delivery of the goods, unless Reiseblog24 has caused the defect through intentional or grossly negligent behavior, or has exceptionally assumed a special guarantee.

Reiseblog24’s liability for slightly negligent breaches of contractual obligations is excluded. However, Reiseblog24 shall remain fully liable for damages culpably caused to the customer relating to life, body, and health, as well as for intent and gross negligence. Reiseblog24 shall not be liable for financial losses, indirect damages, or consequential damages such as lost profits or lost use.

Other or further claims for damages by the customer, regardless of the legal grounds, are excluded unless expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions. If the customer is not a consumer, claims for damages shall expire within one year after the claim arises. This does not apply if the customer’s claims are based on injury to life, body, or health, or on intentional or grossly negligent conduct attributable to Reiseblog24. Liability of Reiseblog24 under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

6. Final Provisions

All business relationships of Reiseblog24 are subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For all disputes arising from or in connection with contracts or business relationships with Reiseblog24, the exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Reutlingen, provided the customer is an entrepreneur within the meaning of § 14 BGB.

Should individual provisions or clauses of these Terms and Conditions be wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining clauses shall remain unaffected. If the customer is an entrepreneur within the meaning of § 14 BGB, Reiseblog24 and the customer are obliged, in the event of complete or partial invalidity of a clause, to agree on a new provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid clause.
